Grass Roots wins WorldSkills London 2011

Meetings, Events and Communications specialist Grass Roots have been contracted to provide the creative and technical solution for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the international skills competition WorldSkills London 2011 at The O2 Arena next month.

WorldSkills London 2011 is the world’s largest, international skills competition where young people from across the globe compete to become the best of the best.  Over 150,000 visitors are expected to attend the event from 5-8 October at ExCeL London.  Over 8,000 guests from across the world will attend the opening and closing events.  The ceremonies will be two spectacular shows, showcasing some of the UK’s most talented young performers and celebrating the communities coming together from around the world to take part in WorldSkills London 2011.
